I'm a scholar, teacher, and writer interested in what happens when these roles overlap. My dissertation, "Unraveling the Self: How Jewish Women Writers Invented New Literary Forms in Postwar America," examines literature by Lore Segal, Cynthia Ozick, Grace Paley, and Vivian Gornick. My writing spans academic scholarship, literary reviews, and public talks, and I'm drawn to work that brings literature to bear on how we live now.
